Helen Dewar B.A., B.Ed., CCDP
Helen Dewar is a Certified Career Practitioner who has worked as an educator, instructional designer, facilitator, and career coach for over 20 years in organizations across Canada, in the United States and the UK.
In her practice, she works with professionals, on a specific career-planning journey, to improve their re-employment skills, and define their goals toward finding satisfying work.
Helen designed, developed and facilitated the award-winning Minerva Helping Women Work™ (MHWW) programs, sponsored by The Minerva Foundation for BC Women — a unique career exploration, job search and mentoring program attended by over 500 professional women over 35 who were re-entering the workforce.
Helen has also been fortunate to have worked in Vancouver and many communities across BC where Indigenous and Non-indigenous women were brought together to explore further education, new working opportunities and community leadership.
She is a past Board member of the Career Management Association in BC.
Her inspiration comes from observing the transformation of career seekers as they re-discover themselves and how they want to work.
